This policy applies only to "Calday" and its related services, products of Hefei Xiguoke Network Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "we").
Hefei Xiguoke Network Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "we") deeply understands the importance of your personal information and makes all commercially reasonable efforts to protect your privacy. We are committed to protecting your personal information by adopting appropriate security measures in line with mature industry security standards.
This Privacy Policy is an integral part of the Calday Terms of Service and applies to scenarios such as your use or purchase of software (collectively "Calday"), products, and services developed or operated by us, or your interactions with Calday employees.
Through this Privacy Policy, we aim to explain the rules for processing your personal information when we collect and use it, as well as the methods we provide for you to access, correct, delete, and protect this personal information, so as to better safeguard your rights and interests. Please read below to learn more about what information we collect, how we process it, and how we may use it.
Your downloading, installing, obtaining, or using Calday software and its related services, registering or logging in, indicates that you have read and agreed to be bound by this Privacy Policy, including any modifications Calday may make to this Privacy Policy at any time. You agree that we may collect, use, and disclose your personal information within the minimum and necessary scope, in compliance with this policy and any applicable laws.
If you do not agree to accept this Privacy Policy or any modifications made by Calday to this Privacy Policy, you should immediately stop using Calday services, cancel your account, and uninstall the Calday software.

I. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information
The purpose of Calday software is to help you record and organize your diaries, creations, and memories. This means you can input, upload, or store any text or images (collectively referred to as "content") that comply with laws, regulations, and other applicable norms in Calday, and upload them to Calday's cloud servers for storage to ensure data is not lost due to uninstallation.
Given this, we need to collect certain necessary personal information to create your Calday account, through which you can sync your data from the cloud at any time during subsequent use.
If you do not agree to provide all or part of your personal information, you may not be able to use all or part of Calday's functions and services.
(I) We will collect and obtain your personal information through the following channels:
Personal information you provide. (1) Personal information you provide to us when registering a Calday account; (2) Personal information you share with other parties through Calday, as well as personal information you store when using Calday.
Please note that if you upload or publish your personal information in public areas visible to other users within Calday services, or in your responses to information uploaded or published by others, such personal information may be collected and used by others. If you discover that others are improperly collecting or using your personal information, you can contact us through the contact methods specified in Article VII [How to Contact Us] of this Privacy Policy.
Your personal information shared by other parties. That is, shared personal information about you provided by other parties when they use Calday services.
Your personal information we obtain. Personal information we collect, aggregate, and record when you use Calday services.
(II) We will collect and use the following types of your personal information for the following purposes:
To help you complete registration, login, and account cancellation. To facilitate our provision of complete Calday services, you need to provide basic registration or login personal information, including mobile phone number, email address, and create your account, username, and password. If you only need to browse content shared by others, you do not need to register as a Calday user or provide the aforementioned personal information.
During the registration, login, or subsequent use of certain individual Calday services, if you provide other additional personal information (including your nickname, avatar, gender), it will help us provide you with a better service experience, but if you do not provide this personal information, it will not affect your use of the basic functions of Calday services.
If you no longer use Calday services, and under the conditions agreed in the service agreement and relevant national laws and regulations, we also provide account cancellation. You can operate according to the specific guidance in Article VII [How to Contact Us] of this Privacy Policy or the [Account Cancellation] function in account settings. Once your account is canceled or deleted, all service data and information related to that account will be deleted, unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations.
To maintain the normal operation of basic functions. During your use of our services, to identify abnormal account statuses, understand product adaptability, provide you with basic services such as Browse and searching, and maintain the normal operation of basic functions, we may automatically collect, store device information about the services you use and how you use them, and associate this information. This information includes:
We may receive and record your device model, operating system, version, software version based on the specific permissions you grant during software installation and use. We receive but do not record the device's current status, Wi-Fi network information, carrier information, and Wi-Fi connection status.
At the same time, to collect the above basic personal device information, we will apply for access to your device information permissions. We collect this information to provide you with our basic services and functions. If you refuse to provide the above permissions, you may not be able to use our products and services.
Please note that isolated device information cannot identify a specific natural person. If we combine such non-personal information with other information to identify a specific natural person, or use it in combination with personal information, then during the combined use period, such non-personal information will be treated as personal information. Unless we obtain your authorization or laws and regulations provide otherwise, we will anonymize and de-identify such personal information. During the combined use period, this information will be processed and protected as your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
To provide services to you. (1) Sharing and publishing personal information: When you use Calday, upload and/or publish personal information, and engage in related activities (e.g., speaking in relevant groups, sharing, app reviews), we will collect the personal information you upload, publish, or generate, and have the right to display your nickname, avatar, and published content.
(2) Membership service delivery: When you subscribe to our membership services, we will generate an order for that membership service through the system. To complete order payment, confirm transaction status, and provide you with after-sales and dispute resolution services, we will collect your account, order, transaction, and payment information related to the transaction progress through the transaction object and payment institution you choose for the transaction, or share your transaction information with the aforementioned service providers. To display your account's order information and ensure your after-sales rights, Calday will collect your order information, transaction and consumption records generated during your use of Calday for display and for your order management.
(3) Customer service and after-sales service: When you contact our customer service or use other user response functions (including submitting after-sales applications, personal information protection complaints or suggestions, other customer complaints and needs), we may need you to provide necessary personal information to match and verify your user identity to ensure the security of your account and system. We may also save your contact information (used when you contact us or other contact information you proactively provide to us), your communication/call records and content with us, and other necessary information related to your needs, in order to contact you or help you solve problems, or to record solutions and results for related issues.
Your personal information we collect indirectly:We may obtain relevant personal information authorized by you from third-party partners (QQ, WeChat). We may obtain your authorized shared account personal information (avatar, nickname, gender, region, login time) from third parties and bind your third-party account to your Calday account after you agree to this Privacy Policy, allowing you to directly log in and use our products and/or services through the third-party account. We will collect and use your personal information in compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and based on agreements with affiliated parties or third-party partners, and on the premise that the personal information they provide is from a legitimate source.
Other uses.Please note that if we want to use your personal information for other purposes not specified in this Privacy Policy or collect additional personal information not mentioned, we will ask for your prior consent separately (consent methods: checkboxes, pop-ups, in-app messages, emails, SMS). Once you agree, such additional uses will be considered part of this Privacy Policy, and such additional personal information will also be subject to this Privacy Policy.
Exceptions to obtaining authorized consent. According to relevant laws and regulations, the collection of your personal information in the following circumstances does not require your authorized consent: (1) Related to national security and defense security; (2) Related to public safety, public health, and major public interests; (3) Related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments; (4) For the purpose of protecting your or other individuals' significant legitimate rights and interests, but it is difficult to obtain your consent; (5) Personal information collected is disclosed by you to the public; (6) Personal information collected from legally publicly disclosed information, such as legitimate news reports, government information disclosure channels; (7) Necessary for signing a contract according to your requirements; (8) Necessary for maintaining the safe and stable operation of Calday services, such as discovering and handling product or service failures; (9) Necessary for legitimate news reporting; (10) Academic research institutions conducting statistical or academic research for public interest purposes, and when providing academic research or description results to the public, de-identifying the personal information contained in the results; (11) Other circumstances stipulated by laws and regulations.
You understand and agree that Calday may need you to enable specific access permissions on your device to enable the collection and use of personal information involved in these permissions: (1) If we access your storage information, it is to enable you to upload photos and images from your device, facilitate adding images to diaries and changing avatars. You can also save images from diaries or long images generated from diaries to your device's album. Additionally, if you use the PDF export diary function, the exported PDF file will also be stored on your device;
(2) If we access your camera, it is to enable you to use the camera for shooting, to achieve the function of taking pictures as avatars or adding them to diaries;
(3) If we need to enable reminder notifications and application self-start permissions, it is to enable Calday to remind you at the set time even after the application has been in the background for a long time and killed by the system, to achieve the function of Calday reminding you to write diaries; this function is implemented based on system alarm technology, and may self-start notification reminders when the application is in the background for a long time and killed by the system.
When you need to disable this function, most mobile devices will support your request. For specific methods, please refer to or contact your mobile device's service provider or manufacturer. Please note that enabling any permission means you authorize us to collect and use relevant personal information to provide you with corresponding services. Once you disable any permission, it means you revoke your authorization, and we will no longer collect and use relevant personal information based on the corresponding permission, nor will we be able to provide you with the services corresponding to that permission. However, your decision to disable permissions will not affect the collection and use of personal information carried out previously based on your authorization.
Prompt about sensitive personal information. The personal information you provide or we collect above may include your personal sensitive information, such as transaction and consumption records, system accounts, email addresses, and phone numbers. Please be cautious and pay attention to sensitive personal information. You agree that your sensitive personal information can be processed by us for the purposes and in the manner described in this Privacy Policy.
II. Personal Information We May Share, Transfer, and Disclose
(I) Sharing
Except for the following circumstances, we will not share your personal information with any third party other than us and our affiliated parties without your consent:
To maintain and improve our services. We may share your personal information with partners and other third parties to help us provide you with more targeted and complete services, such as: communication service providers who send emails on our behalf;

To assist in handling disputes between you and others at your legitimate request;
To provide your personal information at the legitimate request of your guardian;
Provided according to the individual service agreement (including online electronic agreements and corresponding platform rules) signed with you or other legal documents.
We will only share your personal information for legitimate, proper, necessary, specific, and explicit purposes. For companies, organizations, and individuals with whom we share personal information, we will sign strict confidentiality agreements with them, requiring them to process personal information in accordance with our instructions, this Privacy Policy, and any other relevant confidentiality and security measures.
(II) Transfer
As our business continues to develop, we may conduct mergers, acquisitions, asset transfers, or similar transactions, and your personal information may be transferred as part of such transactions. We will require the new company or organization holding your personal information to continue to be bound by this Privacy Policy, otherwise, we will require the company or organization to seek your authorized consent again.

According to legal provisions, sharing and transferring de-identified personal information, and ensuring that the data recipient cannot restore and re-identify the personal information subject, does not belong to external sharing, transfer, and public disclosure of personal information. The storage and processing of such data will not require separate notification to you or your consent.
III. How We Retain, Store, and Protect Your Personal Information Security
(I) We will only retain your personal information for the period necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and within the time limits stipulated by laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements. If we terminate services or operations, we will promptly stop collecting your personal information, notify you in advance in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, and delete or anonymize your personal information after the termination of services or operations, unless otherwise stipulated by laws or regulatory authorities.

We adopt industry-standard practices to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, use, modification, damage, or loss. While ensuring that we do not collect personal information irrelevant to the services provided by Calday, we will take all reasonable and feasible measures:
Data Security Technical Measures (1) We use AES encryption standard technology, also known as Advanced Encryption Standard Rijndael encryption, to protect your data during transmission. This technology, aimed at replacing DES in the 21st century by NIST, encrypts your data through the AES encryption algorithm, generates ciphertext, and transmits it to prevent malicious data theft during transmission and ensure the security of user data during transmission. However, Internet data transmission cannot guarantee 100% security. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the security of information during transmission between you and us; thus, please understand that due to technical limitations and various possible malicious means, in the Internet industry, 100% information security cannot always be guaranteed. You need to understand that the systems and communication networks you use to access our services may have problems due to factors beyond our control.
(2) Once we receive your data, we will ensure its security on our servers through a combination of administrative, physical, and logical security measures.
(3) We establish strict data usage and access policies, adopt strict data access control and multi-factor authentication technology to protect personal information, and avoid illegal use of data.
Other security measures we take to protect personal information (1) We manage and standardize the storage and use of personal information by establishing data classification and grading systems, data security management specifications, and data security development specifications.
(2) We conduct comprehensive security control over data through confidentiality agreements for personal information contacts, monitoring, and auditing mechanisms.

In the unfortunate event of a personal information security incident, we will, in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations, promptly inform you of: the basic situation and possible impact of the security incident, the measures we have taken or will take, suggestions for your self-prevention and risk reduction, and remedial measures for you. We encourage you to update and modify your personal information to make it more accurate and effective. When you correct or delete your personal information or apply for account cancellation, we will immediately correct or delete the corresponding personal information from the server.

(I) Access, Correct, and Delete Your Personal Information
You can access your personal information through Calday and complete or request us to modify, supplement, and delete it according to the corresponding personal information management methods. We will adopt appropriate technical means or provide contact channels for submitting applications to ensure that you can access, update, and correct your personal information or other personal information provided when using Calday as much as possible.
When accessing, correcting, and deleting the aforementioned personal information, we may require you to perform identity verification to ensure personal information security.
In the following situations, you can request us to delete personal information:
- If our processing of personal information violates laws and regulations;
- If we collect and use your personal information without your authorized consent;
- If our processing of personal information seriously violates our agreement with you;
- If we no longer provide Calday services to you.
If we decide to respond to your deletion request, we will also, as far as possible, notify entities that have obtained your personal information from us and request them to delete it promptly, unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations, or these entities have obtained your independent authorization from you.
(II) Public and Share
Many of our services allow you to publicly share your relevant personal information not only with your social network but also with all users of that service, such as the personal information you upload or publish in "Daily Article," or your responses to personal information uploaded or published by others. If you share diaries in Calday with your contacts in a third-party account, then recipients within the allowed scope of your third-party account can view and continue to share the diary content you shared. As long as you do not delete the personal information you have made public or shared, the relevant personal information may remain in the public domain; even if you delete shared personal information, the relevant personal information may still be independently cached, copied, or stored by other users or third parties beyond our control, or kept in the public domain by other users or such third parties. If you disclose or share personal information through the above channels, we will not be responsible for any resulting leakage of your personal information. Therefore, we remind you and ask you to carefully consider whether to disclose or share your personal information through the above channels.
(III) Change the Scope of Your Authorized Consent
You can always choose whether to disclose personal information. Some personal information is necessary for using Calday, but the provision of most other personal information is determined by you. You can change the scope of your authorization for us to continue collecting personal information or withdraw your authorization by deleting personal information, disabling device functions, etc.
When you withdraw your authorization, we will no longer be able to provide you with the services corresponding to the withdrawn authorization, nor will we process your corresponding personal information. However, your decision to withdraw authorization will not affect the personal information processing carried out previously based on your authorization.
VI. Notices and Revisions
We may modify the terms of this Privacy Policy from time to time, and such modifications constitute a part of this Privacy Policy. For major changes, we will provide more prominent notice. If you do not agree to such changes, you can choose to stop using Calday; if you continue to use Calday services, it means you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.
Any modifications we make will always prioritize your satisfaction. We encourage you to review our Privacy Policy every time you use Calday.
We may issue service-related announcements when necessary (for example, when we suspend a service due to system maintenance). You may not be able to cancel these service-related announcements that are not promotional in nature.
Finally, you must maintain the confidentiality of your account and password information. In any case, please keep them carefully and properly.
